Added a new recipe to my repertoire tonight

Mwaha! I decided to make a Sun Dried tomato Pasta Sauce from scratch tonight and being the psychoticItalian that I am I did so without a recipe and for once wrote down everything I did and what I used for future reference! It came out nicely spicy and zesty and was a hit with the whole family! ^___ ( Read more... )

Mmmm that sounds really good!
My mom and I did something similar awhile ago. I got sick of all of the bad seafood gumbo at the local (tourist trap) restaurants, so we decided to make up our own recipe and see how it came out. It took a little bit of tweaking, but it came out awesome.
Now I really want some...

Yeah, I need to make my own artichoke, herb butter sauce pasta dish for that exact reason. I really want a yummy one, but I keep making the mistake of ordering it out...>.< Stupid me. The last time I got the dish I couldn't even finish it, it had NO taste, except the overpowering minestrone flavor that for some reason(I blame the string beans they put in it) permeated it.
