I am not too happy with myself because I SAT on my iPod and now the screen is broken. Yes, it is all one weird color blob rather than a real display. Not sure where to go for repair now...

TechRestore provides screen replacements at what seem to be decent prices. I have no idea if people like them, have problems with them, or whatever.

Or, this could be the excuse you need to upgrade.

I ended up ordering a new LCD screen and I plan to install it myself, or if that turns out to be too difficult getting the computer engineer who occasionally hangs out around my apartment (my roommate is dating him) to do it for me.
