This is actually the first written in the Terragaze series, which I posted at paire_love in a sneak peek to create interest in the series (which totally worked, BTW). Now that The Killing Moon is done, I figured I should hurry up and post the thing. While this is part of the Terragaze series, this wasn't prompted by 50_alternates, just FYI

*looks around* *blush* I actually wrote that it was done because I'm too lazy to go back and edit it later - and it seemed tacky to say I was posting it simply because I wanted people to vote for it in the paire awards. If you'll look at the date, it's after the three-day weekend we've got coming up here in Australia - and I'm planning to have it up by then, I've got it half done and am working on finishing it as we speak (sorta). As long as I don't have to spend the whole damn weekend on house renovations (which is the main reason it's not up already!), then it should be up by Tuesday US time.

Well, it's good news for you, anyway! I've signed up for five Sousuke/Kaname pledges in the Church of Lemons 08, run by the love reflection list (off the Blissful ignorance website). One's a fanmix (so I just hope I can get that damn song - you don't have 'gone away' by cold, do you?), the other four are fics! One's going to be 'private eyes' and the second's going to be the fic you beta-read for me (in the stable?), but the other two are going to be never-before-seen. should I go for angsty smut (in secret places) or fluffy smut (castle of fantasies, or love lessons)? The CoL's being run from Feb 14 to March 14.

Excellent! I haven't visited BI in the longest time, so I wasn't aware of this little challenge going on. I do have that song by cold you asked about--I downloaded it when you asked for it, see how much I like you! :-p I sent the file via e-mail, let me know if you received it.

And to be honest, since I'm such a groupie for your stories, anything you write is fine by me, whether is angsty or fluffy, I'm easy to please. But the truth is, I really haven't seen you write anything angsty for FMP, which kind of makes me lean that way, but then again, I DO love your regular fluffy smut from CoF. I don't believe I've read anything from "Love Lessons", but I'm looking forward to it, as well.

I just love having a groupie *smirk*. But since my first two pledges are going to be fluffy, maybe I should do angsty smut - the first two stories of 'in secret places' would definitely qualify, and one is a story I know you've been interested in - one of the 'sousuke turned on to the point of violence' fics. Hint; part one is a speculative missing scene from TSR 'edge of heaven', part two takes places right after the climactic battle in TSR 'continuing day by day'.

Actually, you have read Love Lessons - I just spent so long referring to the series by that name, I keep forgetting I haven't actually written it down (I think). Remember 'the art of love and the wisdom of war'? Sousuke and Kaname meeting in college, and going at it on the teacher's desk? That was part one. I've got about 5 fics in the series, including a new take on the A21 arc.

Hmm..so it was a rejected lover who brought Peter face to face with his new love. How ironic.LOL

Loved Angela protecting Peter from BO(most appropriate since she's about as welcome as that) after she was getting ready to chew him out for leaving the party. That is until she figures out why he's going and then can't blame him.

I wonder if she'll consider it familial duty to prevent the Baroness from monopolizing his time or if she'll think he owes her a favor for having to put up with the old bat herself? I'm thinking she'll call in a favor, Angela doesn't strike me as the type to let things go for free.

I'm glad Peter still doesn't judge her even after seeing the results of Claire's work. If he did their relationship would never last.

1. Actually, if you read the first part, you'll see it's because Peter was interfering with her exploiting the downtrodden for profit. BUT... given her proclivities, she's bound to have hit on Peter at some point, and he'd obviously have rejected her. Hmmm... wonder if I can work that in somewhere

Thanks for the spoiler. As for BO, I forgot the reason Claire was sent after him in the first place. The why wasn't important to me so much as long as it happened. If I get my Paire(hopefully incest free) then I'm happy.
