☆ A quick question for all of you guys! There're many things in this world that are in excess, or there's too much of it in one place - abstract ideas like 'hope', 'love', 'death' and 'hate' as well. In your

Abstract ideas that there are too much of? Romantic love, I think. (Not a horribly cynical way, just in the way that so many people think they're in love and then end up not being.)

[any personal song favorites? 8D]
People set their sights on romance way too high sometimes, and it leads to a lot of hurt when they realize it isn't 'true love', as well. It kind of makes me sad but ehhh, what do I know, maybe we all can't help falling into this trap eventually. :/

Crystal Ball is definitely one of my favorites, as are Everybody's Changing, You Don't See Me, and Spiraling. But I also like the fact that their cd's are really easy to listen to all the way through.
It is a bit sad. Though I think all of the "fake" romance and love make the real thing that much more precious. /sap

FFFF Everybody's Changing makes me feel like hugging someone, the person whose perspective it's from sounds so lost in that song that I can't help it o/ Some think they're really boring but then BAH, different strokes for different blokes and I agree with you, they're easy to listen to and very soothing on the ears. :3a
One of my all-time favorites has to be 'A Bad Dream' (though I'm stuck on 'The Frog Prince' as well) because I just really adore their skills with the lyrics.
That's why true love is so elusive and we have to search hard to find it :Kb
that's why when done correctly this can be so sweet, but when done wrong it just comes off as so very plastic. AHHH, ROMANCE.

I think that "dreams" are in excess. It reminds me of this one part in the Percy Jackson books where they're traveling through the underworld and they see this trail of junk. Charon explains that these are people's dreams that they left behind when they died -- their dreams of success, love, fortune -- that never were fulfilled. Whether the dreams actually come true or not, I think it's safe to say that every human being has them, whether they like it or not, whether the dreams are big or small.

Thinking of dreams that never got to be fulfilled makes me "):" a little but then things like that are inevitable...and this reminds me how much INEED to read the PJO series but why does everyone keep borrowing them away >:
