I used to have a picture of a V-22 Osprey on a conveyor belt asking if it would takeoff..... I made it because I was a bit caustic at the time >.>

Of course, now, my first response to it would be something like this: "It has a better chance of flying than Delta/Northwest/etc"

lol

the answer is clear.

OF COURSE IT WON'T, THOSE HANDLES ARE IN THE WAY.

why can't people understand.

as for the helicopter, thats clearly going to open up a wormhole into another dimension sucking in the universe and rendering the question irrelevant o shi-

First: Why the hell a did the artist choose a DC-10 for the ramp picture? We all know Douglas-Corporation aircraft can't fly

Anyways, I'm pretty sure the blades on the RC choppers are counter-rotating, so one blade will be producing twice as much lift due to the boost (to naturally get through), similar to a headwind on takeoff giving an aircraft extra airflow.

as for a normal chopper, I'd imagine the stabilizing blade/tail would have something to disrupt the whole ohshi--- factor, since otherwise a helicopter would be one mega torque ride that would never get off the ground
