That sale is a wondrous deal. I just wrote a review of a posthumous collection of poems by a friend of mine (who's been dead seventeen years, the collection just came out) and posted it on my Blogspot. To my surprise, a real literary magazine asked me to expand it for their next issue. That made one huge positive while reading student essays dominated by a tendency to assume that syntax was what prostituted pay the government.

That it is! Especially since it's the kind of publication that I can count as professional (as well as an academic publication). I just have to worry that the English department will charge me with poaching!
