Over the past couple of days, I've watched the whole first season of Parks and Recreation, and kind of enjoyed it, in between attacks of cringing. I've laughed a few times, and learnt the characters' names (this is actually fairly big for me - I'm awful with names and it can sometimes take me more than a season to learn them ( Read more... )

Fist bump for inability to remember character names. It is TERRIBLE, especially when I'm trying to act like a member of fandom and post about a show and I have to check imdb every five seconds.

Yeah. I wish it were just character names though, but it hits me in my real life too.

Meee toooo. People usually say they're either good with names or faces but I'm terrible with both.

Yeah. I have killer voice-recognition though. As soon as someone speaks, I'm fine. If they don't say a word I will stare blankly wondering who the hell they are.
