Before we get to the meme portion of the entry: I'm not around properly right now. I had the week from hell (it started with a gland infection, a raging temperature, no cover, and a patient dropping dead all before 8 on Monday morning, and it's kind of gone downhill from there), and I'm now looking after my mother, who is three days post-total hip

Just to clarify, WILL YOU NOT BE WATCHING THE MID-SEASON FINALE OF AoS AT THE SAME TIME AS THE REST OF US!??!!?!

VERONICA MARS. ONE OF MY OTHER GREAT FANDOM LOVES. Did you know that Veronica is the whole entire reason that I've even got an LJ? I found the movie SO satisfying. It was just the perfect tying up of loose ends. And, ultimately, I think that's what it was supposed to be: closure for the fans. I LOVED IT.

And, yeah, social justice was never Veronica's thing (after all, she was happy enough to run with 09ers when Lilly was alive, it wasn't until Veronica was ostracised that she began to object to the injustices of the system), but it's personal to her now, and that's always what drove her in the big cases.

So, I skipped the third season, but I feel like Veronica really developed a sense of justice as the show went on? I kind of only pay attention to the first season, but I feel like Lilly's death and her family's destruction and who her father is all played into Veronica becoming the woman who would stick in a dying town to try and rip some justice from the cracks of it.
