Last night I saw Alexisonfire in Nottingham with my older brother at Rock City.

IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME.

YOU WONT BELIEVE IT- BUT I, DAEA, CROWD SURFFFFFED.

IN A COCKTAIL PARTY DRESS AND SILVER BOOTS

I've just been randomly cruising people on my friends'friends lists and came across your post. Alexisonfire? Growing on me. I've been hearing about them for YEARS (since I live in Canada, I've known about them since like, 2001 or early 2002, I'm pretty sure, since we lived in the house I grew up in when I first saw them live on muchmusic) and I've only ever seen them once, but they are CRAZY live. Have you listened to Dallas' band City and Colour? He's just fucking incredible all over the place.

Also, your purple hair rocks. I've wanted to colour mine like that, but I've been at the same job for five years and they have a rule about no colour that doesn't occur in nature... so I doubt I'd get away with it. :P

Hey i've added you.

My best friend loves them and through her I listened to a lot of their tracks. I discovered they were touring to a venue I could attend easily- so I did. They are really good live. My friend Elandae has sent me a couple of tracks of Dallas (City and Colour) and its just amazing. I really do love his voice.

I work in a Hospital and my boss- not really that keen on it, but its not BRIGHT purple-pink- so i can just about get away with it.
