this is so beautiful and sad and fuck, i need a hockey icon to fully express this. i love this so much. i was totes rooting for the bruins (duh) but kes crying and them showing it on tv was just so heartbreaking. ugh.

also, i love the bit at the end that mentions the rioters. /sob.

i cried when i saw kes crying on the ice. and they were not tears of joy, let me tell you. i was sitting on the couch trying not to sob, and my dad's all, "so julia, your team just won the stanley cup, what are you going to do?!" and i was like, "i'm going to go hug the fuck out of ryan kesler."

anyways. i almost cried when i wrote this too because i was just overwhelmed, so i'm glad you liked it. but please don't cry, bb. it'll be okay.

i cried when they showed kes crying on the ice. i mean, i'm a bruins fan but nobody likes to see that. it kind of broke my heart into fifty billion pieces so then i really had no choice but to write this, but everyone keeps telling me that it makes them want to cry which was not my intention AT ALL. it was supposed to make people feel better, not want to cry! D: but, that aside, i'm glad you liked it nevertheless.

i'm a bruins fan, but i'm also kind of a canucks fan-ish? i think it's just because with each of the games, i watched the team, and i got more insight into them as a team, and i like them. i just like the bruins more.

anywho! i cried when i saw kesler too. things like that just break my heart, and i really had no choice but to write this. it's so emotional because i was emotional at the time, but i'm glad you liked it.

When they showed Kesler a step away from crying, I felt so bad for him.:( I wanted to hug him so bad.

i wanted to hug him too. i mean, i wanted the bruins to win, but that was an utterly heartbreaking sight to see.

i love burr so much. it was after the biting incident that i really started to pay attention to him, and then he grew on me over the course of these playoffs.
