I like, I like! I love Sam "returning the favor" and I love Sam worried about John finding out he closed his eyes when he fired.

Aww, this is great. I really like the "x times so-and-so did such-and-such (and one time he didn't" fics. The little snapshots of life are awesome.

I love how it ended with the pilot scene too. Beautiful. :)
