Windows Vista = Epic Fail

THIS just hit the wire Friday morning. Once exploits are created to take advantage of this, there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

The gist:

Really? I didn't see that in the article. I'm curious how that would work the same way on a Mac, because they're built on different architectures: Mac on BSD-ish UNIX, and Vista on heavily modified XP.

True. No OS is perfect, and anything can be hacked eventually, but this is a pretty glaring design flaw. Worse, because apparently it can't be patched like a regular bug, and would require at least a partial redesign of the security architecture.
