Farewell Weekend

Aug 27, 2007 12:12

As this was brokenbryan's last weekend before shipping off to Canuckistan for school, the three of us spent all weekend hanging out and going places. Friday night after the wall of storms swept through the area, we got our sushi on at Little Tree in Royal Oak. Aaron and I, with much self-restraint, limited ourselves to one Mad Chef roll each. re: Bryan: Thanks. I know we'll see him again in about a month or so, but it's still gonna be a little rough for awhile. Empty Nest Syndrome really sucks. :)

*hugs* ...but you guys can always venture for a long weekend journey to see him every now and again :-)

...we LOVE ikea here -- have loads of their crap (especially kitchen stuff & lamps).

*hug* Thanks. He already bugged the hell out of us to plan our first visit, which should be in about a month. Like I said to die7fox though, Empty Nest Syndrome sucks. Be warned. :oD

It's a damn good thing IKEA isn't any closer than it already is. If they had built their store in Troy like they wanted to, they would own our soul (and all of our debt). I alternately bless and curse the Troy city council for being such asshats that IKEA told them to fuck off.

Mostly curse.
