You know . . . .I had a vague hope that this term would be. . . .well, slightly smoother going than the last- seeing as I'm now accustomed to the work load that art school doles out and that I know my way around campus and have connections with people there

Oh wow, that sounds really rough :S And just the thought of a house in the state that you described made me cringe - if that's because of who I think it's because of, then you've got one more reason to crack open a can of whoop-ass!
When do you start classes? I just realised there's something wrong with my classes for this year, and I'm freaking out a little bit :(
