Wow, I think you did a great job! Especially for a first vid. Mine was something akin to a bunch of clips that went on for thirty seconds at a time with inappropriate music in the background. Much badness.

The one crit I'd have is the use of the transition where it spins and the blinds transition. They just bug me in general, though. I'm a big fan of fades.

But, yeah, I think you did a truly excellent job.

thanks! I was unsure about those two transitions, but i had so much fading, because i am also a big fan of fades, that i wanted to try something else, thanks so much for your feedback.

I had to download this once I noticed which song you used. I really love that song.

I think it shows a lot of promise for a first vid. The tone was very fitting. I think if you tried to match clips to the lyrics more closely, that would help, but I understand how hard that can be-- and also, people interpret lyrics differently, whether with imagery or metaphorically... I get that.

In any case, thanks for sharing. :)

I actually wasn't going to use this song because of the fact that I knew that I wasn't going to be able to match clips to the lyrics, but I was going more for matching clips to the tone, rather than matching the lyrics. Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate your honesty.

The first thing I notice is the shots you use of Veronica looking solitary ... that really worked well. The song is very cool - I love the effect she is using for her voice.

The slowed down speed of the clips ... it makes you feel like things are slowing down along with the song. I don't know how to describe it better than that. It's dragging, but in a good way.

I really liked the ending, but I think the video would've been even stronger w/ simpler transitions - or maybe just not the ones that looked like the lines and pixels. They weren't that distracting, but I think the fades and blurs would've suited the 'softness' of the song/video more.

Great job for a first video!
