I really liked it! Very well edited, and I liked the clips you used, the way you made them work with other clips to give an even broader picture of the series.

I love it! I might post it around to get more people interested, if you don't mind. I think I like the 2nd version better... I'm not sure. Both are so good.

Thanks, I definitely don't mind. As for the other version, yeah, I'm definitely having a hard time with that ending. The rhythm of the final montage was starting to bug me in that version, which is why I threw in the "You're going soft, Mars" into this one. Still not sure which is the "final" version, but feel free to post whichever version around you want. ;)

I agree, actually. It's an excellent promo, and this was one of the few awkward cuts I think. I would almost suggest cutting out Clarence's line about Harvard and go directly from her panicking to him asking about her hysterical routine. It makes the point a bit faster and possibly a bit more humorous (hard to say without seeing it, it might not work at all).

The only other minor suggestion that I have is possibly using the opening introduction with Dean at Hearst as more of a storytelling device which you already do and I love, but I almost think putting in one more clip of maybe Veronica with the gun on the roof between "I once shot a man in Reno" and "how did that go? It was a bit of a letdown."

But again, these are such minor critiques from someone who can't actually vid at all (I just watch a lot of them) so I think you did a terrific job.

Cutting down that CW scene like that is a VERY good suggestion! It would also give me room to throw in more clips! As is the "I shot a man in Reno" suggestion. That part's been bugging me, too, b/c I wasn't sure what would go there. I will definitely try out both those changes and see how they work. Thanks!

Yeah, you're not the first person to mention something off about the CW/Veronica scene, so that will definitely need to change. Thank you!

Very cute too bad the CW doesn't have a contest for fan made promos because this one I am sure could win hands down. :)

Awwww, thanks. I'm sure pretty much everyone here could come up with something better than what the CW puts out, so they should really do that. ;)

This was A+. You did a really good job nailing the tone of the show, and you didn't get bogged down in Logan/Veronica like so many of these promo vids do. However, I thought the VO of Veronica's speech to Logan about her trust issues made an incredibly effective backdrop for the scenes you chose, and using V's conversation with Piz to frame Lilly's murder was also a good choice. Like I said, A+!
