DOCTOR WHO SERIES TWO FINALE, YOU BROKED MY HEART T_T.

But OMG. I finally understand what fandom has been raving about for years. David Tennant is just...a brilliant actor. There must be some important (recurring) character he could play on Merlin, no? *wants to see this*

Though I wonder, if he and Bradley James appeared on screen together, would ( Read more... )

I do love it when people 'discover' Doctor Who.

There is so much more to come!

This was just supposed to be a background distraction while I did aps and drew for the Thing-A-Thon, but the minute David Tennant appeared on screen my mind was entirely blown. I mean, I thought Christopher Eccleston was fantastic, but David is just on this whole other level.

I'm about to watch Runaway Bride! So excited.

I liked it! I mean, at first I thought including Donna at the end of that really emotional scene in the series 2 finale really disrupted the mood, but in the special she and the doctor were funny, so I enjoyed it.

Middle of S3 right now. Woo!

Yes I agree it was strange having her pop up so suddenly in that moment because I mean you’re crying your eyes out and the moments all quite, soft and inward etc and then BOOM she shows up with a very loud and abrupt personality. But then again that’s kind of what they do on that show I think…whenever there is a sad depressing moment they soon move on or try to put something in there that will jog you out of it and move you on to the next chapter etc Glad your enjoying season 3 =D

True story. I mean, I'm slightly embarassed about how much I was bawling during that good bye scene. But yes, its exactly what they do (and it did stop my boohooing), I guess because it is still a light hearted show with a few dark moments scattered here and there.

Speaking of dark moments though, I LOVE that scene in Runaway Bride where the Doctor is burning all the alien babies in the pit, and there is fire raging behind him and the look on his face is so...deadly.

I dont watch Dr. Who so I don't really get why everyone loves david tennant but I can say that during that very first shirtless scene of Bradley's, my computer actually FROZE.

SO YEAH I THINK ITS POSSIBLE THAT TVs CAN EXPLODE FROM SEXY

From the looks of david tennant though, I think he'd make a cool servant to powerful King who is actually the mastermind behind the entire nefarious plot lol. Or if he's a good guy, a servant friend to Merlin and Gwen! He does not like a knight or anything lol

Dude, I was the same way. I was like...what are all these fools babbling about. But not I'M THE FOOL. I'M BABBLING.

Yeah, he's definitely not a knight, but some sorta magical person maybe? IDK THIS IS JUST WISHFUL THINKING. I doubt the BBC would be that indulgent T_T.

PS- your computer has good taste in chest porn.

I am pretty sure that, if he wanted to, they'd let him. The BBC is all OVER David. They actually "begged" him to stay on DW by offering him a 1 million pounds payment PER EPISODE *nods*

Then, this christmas (or, well december) David was on either BBC 1, 2, 3 or BBC Radio 74 times - in ONE BLOODY MONTH! And, this is no joke, shortly before Xmas they issued a press release which said that they were SORRY that, for one hour, between 2 and 3 am in the morning, David was not mentioned once in any show (Telly and radio) from the BBC ...

So, yes, needless to say - the BBC might just be a bit in love with David Tennant *laughs* I like it though that he doesn't care about their money and general ass-kissing and just does what he likes.

GO DAVID!

uhm, yeah xD

First, OMG YOUR ICON!!!

Wow, that is some serious insanery BBC. But I can't say that I blame them. Perhaps I should start issuing apologies everytime I stop thinking about DT for an hour ;).

Man, respect for not caving for money. I mean, I would loved to see him continue as the Doctor, but if its time to move on, then its time to move on. I'm dying to see his Hamlet.

Gah, I've been wanting to start Doctor Who and you've just now made it moreso. ;) So many people love it, so I want to be in on the love! Definitely going to try to do that soon.

Cool! It's been a pretty quick watch for me. I didn't really start to pay attention until the end of season 1, and then season 2 was pure magic.

Oh really? Mine was Robin Hood, but I was constantly bombarded with Doctor Who promos and stuff on SciFi (before it was siffy) and was super curious to watch it. Glad I finally did.

Yeah I read about the project! I WANT IT NOW! WHY NBC, WHY DO YOU FAIL AT EVERYTHING??
