[Art] Merlin (x2)

I need to be studying for the JLPT or doing Grad School aps, so naturally, I am doing neither. Instead, my Merlin art-bunny muse is running full steam ahead.

Here are two pieces inspired by threemeows's Albion University series. One of these may not be entirely worksafe (it's really mild, but you may not want to chance it).

Oh man, I wish. I'm terrible at oils :(. I actually drew these digitally with my tablet pen and used Photoshop to color.

Yay, I'm glad Gwen looks right. Angel has such interesting features to draw, but if you get them wrong, it messes up her whole face. I spent hours redrawing her mouth, nose and eyes.

And puddle Arthur was so much fun to draw!

Wow. Beautiful. I love how you reflected him. It is just perfect. Ipod and soccer ball turn into sword and helmet. Love it. Very artistic.

Gwen in her Santa hat! I love her facial expression and eyes.

Thanks so much! The reflection was actually more fun than the soccer uniform because all the armor is crazy to draw. And well, we all know that the iPod is just a modern day metaphor for a sword. I kill people with mine all the time ;).

This is actually the best Arwen art I've ever seen. Love it! Love the colours especially! Also, I love the reflection in the first (didn't notice that the first time round.) That's just genius. The colouring makes the water look so realistic too!

Omg, that's so sweet! Coloring is something I always struggle with, so I'm glad the colors are okay. And puddle Arthur was so much fun to do, so I'm glad you liked it!
