things cant always be what you want them to be, i was forced into a situation i didnt want. but after being there for awhile and i did make the best of it, i am happy now because i did. i went from living day by day waiting to turn 18 to move back to living every second of life up that i can. even working, i like where i work. i like the classes i'm gonna take next year. i like the college opportunities, my boyfriend, my friends. sure some of them arnt the same and have changed and get all party craze. but i still make time for those long talks bc long intellectual conversations are my favorite things. i wish a lot of things could be the same. when i came to visit i just wanted to walk around bc i just missed my hometown so much. and hangout with you guys and i dont even care if we did nothing. i just wanted to hangout. everytime i go back to boston its like a blast fromt he past. but i love it and its the present and i miss it. but its give and take. im going to have to wait on moving back bc i need to finish up school and see where

I definately agree with you. This is so fast-pace and I feel like I am not ready for it. I think it comes in the description of senior year. I can't believe it's that time.
Also, we are so much different than we all were last year. Those parties. I could not have even dreamt that would happen last year. So we have definately grown up.
But if you don't like where the road is taking you, change it. You're right about the past, you have no power, but the present you do. So if you want to slow it down, you should.
