Opening the ARK

Who: L'Angley, Zoe, and any other technicians currently in the GDF tower.
What: The standard maintenance crew is unable to open ARK's cockpit and Zoe is the first on the scene who can.
When: Right after the mission.
Where: Mech hangar of the GDF Tower.
Notes: Anybody in the tower can react, but no Newtypes, Psychodrivers, Mages, or any other person

Having just come on base and hearing some strange things about the last mission Julius has come to the Tower to see what's going on. Seeing the strange situation he waits until the technicians give up and then climbs up to the cockpit, knocks and asks, "Hello? Are you okay in there?"

There is no response from the cockpit.

Julius knocks again and then sighs, "Well, I hope whoever is in there is okay. I just know how much it sucks to be stuck in a cockpit for a long period of time and wanted to know if you wanted to talk or something. Get your mind off of the fact that your stuck in a cockpit."

She had been on her way to the maintenance room when she felt it, a strange indescribable - but strangely not unfamiliar - sensation that made her walk with a bit more urgency. Normally she wouldn't have gawked at the new mech that sat there, despite the rather interesting appearance, as she had other work to do. But something made her head toward it, and that feeling intensified, almost egging her on. Before she knew it, she was staring up at the thing, brow furrowed, hand touching the chassis.

The feeling she had... It was like electricity jolted up her arm and through her body, and she physically jumped back, shocked.

The lights on the cockpit moved to the point where Zoe had touched it, and it slowly began to open, steam pouring out of the cockpit.

As the light touched the area, L'Angley could be seen within, slowly raising his head and covered in burns and cuts.

"Hey," he said with a wan smile. "Are you the angel they sent to carry me off to heaven?"

The fact that it opened left her in complete shock, and she knew for a fact that she hadn't done anything to initiate it. Had... had she been the one to...

But that didn't do anything!

Seeing the man worse for wear as the cockpit opened, her eyes went wide. He still managed to make a pass at her despite his condition, and her face turned an ominous shade of red.

"I-idiot, don't move like that!" she barked up at him, then looked around. "Someone get a medic, this guy needs help! I'm going to try to get him down."

"Huh. I actually survived?" the man said, looking up before wincing in pain.

"I'd say it's a pleasant surprise but I'm not sure my body agrees. Might I ask who my fair savior is?"
