Yesterday I dusted off some tokens of the summertime and remembered why I came here and the fun that Philadelphia does contain...in warm weather

so many good things.. friends everywhere, beers in the park, riding up to the river, staying out late, waking up early, prayiing facing the air conditioner. i was thinking about this too... i was super bummed on philly and then we had that freakishly nice day and i remembered why i like it here. At least this summer you won't have to worry about getting dyptheria reconstructing the house that drugs built.

Substitute every "Rittenhaus" with "Kelly Drive" and that's my version.... well, and ice cream at the Trolley Car Diner. Yum!

hows about this for summer fun:

riding bikes from callow hill to south philly, in the hot hot summer heat and then me losing a pedal right off of my bike in the middle of market! haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. aw i miss the summer too.

i was just talking to Kelly about this day last night. hahah i remember it like you riding the sparkly purple pee wee herman bike and then the pedal falling off and you waving it in that man's face who was yelling at you for stopping. we gotta get that thing fixed lady!
