10 sounds to me like it might come from a tale old as time...or perhaps a song as old as rhyme? Maybe? Perhaps spoken by an anthropomorphic candelabra voiced by the late, great Jerry Orbach affecting a wonderful French accent? He later did the big show-stopping number of the film?
