I havn't spent much time on LiveJournal lately.  Maybe in the future, when I'm in need of a new gucci cloned purse, or need to learn about some Russian goth bands.  Or if I just need to catch up on my Cyrillic...  Livejournal seems to be the place for that

Ye gods! Great to see you are still at least nominally alive. ^_^ I'd like to hope you read LJ still, given it's a good means of staying in touch without being a datamining component, and with a great community atmosphere.

Luckily, LJ is so slow these days, that I can check it every couple of weeks, and it doesn't take long at all to read through the minimal amount of posts.

Hee! You need to add some of the folks on my flist - I'm having some difficulty keeping up with everyone on a daily basis, let alone multiple weeks. ^_^

I also find it such a welcome change from Twitter. I'm there, but.. I really do enjoy having more substantial reading than that affords. Life can't always be boiled down to 140 characters. True, there are plenty of quick notes that lend themselves to such updates, but I'm also interested in hearing about what folks I know are thinking, feeling.. more than just a sentence, but something that helps me feel what they're expressing. (Not that I manage that all that often either, I suppose. ^_^;)
