I'm thinking I won't have the custom gobos done by the next frolic, will probably use the stock ones for then.
As for the dmx, yes, it can be set to step or go with the sound, and has a mic built in for pickups. Although it's limited functions, it won't actually respond to different tones, but rather will just step through the pre-programmed functions in time to the beat.
And Rayce says he will be getting back that morning, from Hawaii, so good chance he'll be at Frolic, although he said he probably wouldn't have time to prep any video, so Jody will probably do that again.
And could definitely use some help with the dmx stuff, there's alot to know about that, and I do have the option of tapping into the lights they already have at the stud for even more effect.
fyi, the gobos uses a 18.2mm if you want to try and tackle something that would fit in that area. Can be fairly detailed, just make it solid black and white, where black is the area to be removed. I've done a few designs, and can show you some time...
ohh, now you're in for it :) you can't stop at just one. When your garage/living room is full of lighting instruments, you will rue this day :)
artists: for metal gobos, vector graphics, and remember that you're cutting holes in metal, so a bulls-eye will need connecters to hold the inner rings, etc.
