Perhaps, but the way Funimation has chosen to promote it is...fun. ^///^

I'm just so happy for the chance to finally own it on DVD.

I bought mine, but that was just for the fun of dressing up. I'm definitely not what you'd call a hardcore cosplayer. Also, I can't sew. D:

Well, I love the series in general, so I'm happy it's getting a lot of attention.

I'm MORE excited about all the awesome Haruhi Suzumiya swag I found. Though I suppose that I shouldn't be surprised... ^^;;

Did Gareth David-Lloyd really call you "sweetheart"? 0.0 Did... did you get a picture? I almost asked you to get me his autograph, but then I realized that having it wouldn't really mean that much to me, when I wasn't there in person to get it :( But if you'd like to describe everything in excruciating detail and allow me to live vicariously, FEEL FREE. XD

(also, Darth Elvis = sort of the best idea ever)

Yes, he did!! I think I was the youngest person in his line and I made sure to say please and thank you, so I may have awakened his sympathy or something. ^^;; He was so sweet and soft-spoken and pretty. He was wearing a ski cap and it was adorable. I didn't get any pictures, because it was really dark and crowded - I didn't want to blind him with my flash, like people were doing to James Marsters.
