Okay, so Anime Expo 2010 is supposed to be the big one for licensing announcements this year. Bandai, Funimation and Nozomi will all be announcing new licenses. And you know what that means! :D :D :D

For me, as always, the series I'm waiting for is Nodame Cantabile. The fact that it hasn't been licensed yet is always surprising to me -- it has a fairly significant western fanbase and is well-loved by a lot of english-speaking anime fans. Even if the musical performances make it difficult to license (which is, I'm assuming, the main reason why it hasn't been licensed yet), I will continue to be bitchy about it until someone gets it done ;D
Edited to add: I would actually also like to see Kimi ni Todoke, and I think it's probably fairly likely we'll see an announcement about it in the next while, though I'm assuming Viz will want to get their hands on it since they're doing the manga.
