Uwaaa. Somehow... I feel a touch offended by that. xDD I am a huge fan of anime, yes, and I would definitely say I'm part of fandom. But I'm not going to say that attending cons makes my year. (In fact, I don't even attend cons.) I've got more momentous occasions to enjoy (i.e. graduating college). I dunno, it just sounded a little condescending, though I know the writer didn't mean it to be~
And if I have a complaint about the images! It would be that they aren't labeled. People reading the paper would automatically assume that those costumes are anime-related, when actually they're more game-related. (Though the relation is somewhat close.) But, this is just me being nitpicky about the format of the paper itself.

BUT YAY FOR HETALIA AND KUROSHITSUJI MENTION. That makes me pretty happy to hear!

Looks like the first image is Cloud from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and the last one is Link from Zelda, but... no clue who the people in the middle are!!! Newspaper fail!!! >:O

...I've never even watched one of the Gundam series and I still feel like a dirty nerd for noticing that, ha.
