At one of the teen functions I volunteered at, a young man informed me tnat all of this environmental stuff is a naturally occuring track, and the hype over it is just to make money for special environmental rich people. His parents, he informs me, have really fallen for this and try to help things by donating to such causes as stopping global warming. He sees no need to do so as it is going to happen regardless of what we do. He's 14.
