Great to see you've updated. And glad to see new characters!

Just oooonne itty bitty thing (that I learned only recently) - whenever someone else talks in the dialogue, you're supposed to put them in a new line. It's the correct format, and it makes reading the dialogue easier.

So this...

"Kai." Ruki called as he walked along side the taller boy. "Could we go some where today?" he asked directly. Kai stopped and looked at Ruki. "Go where?" Kai asked. Ruki reached into his book bag and pulled out a magazine, a page bookmarked with sticky note. Ruki held the magazine to Kai and pointed. "They're having a sale on clothing." Ruki said, pointing to several articles of clothing. Kai looked at the magazine and sighed. "Fine...if that's what you want, Ruki." Kai said, patting Ruki on the head as he did so.

...should look like this.
