I'm Free!!!!

Well my last exam was today was today, which was English. It wasn't half bad, but it wasn't half easy either. Ok did that make any sense? I had to write an essay about what is love, how it functions, what it is, what it isn't...that kind of thing. The sweet irony is I have no experience whatsoever. So yeah, I kind of felt at a disadvantage. I ( Read more... )

Oh God, I know how that goes. I was diagnosed with depression when I was 12 and dealt with it ever since so it doesn't surprise me. Just let him know you're there for him and make sure you are. The teen years are hard enough for most people. It gets really lonely, especially when you're depressed too.

I can't believe how clueless I was about depression kicking in such young ages. Its simply unreal. Yeah I'll be sure to stick by him. No way I can just leave him hanging like this. I'll keep you updated. ^^

I wouldn't know what to do in a situation like that. It would probably be best to see him and just be there for him. High School can be pretty rough. On a lighter note, Congrats on finishing your exams:)

High school is rough. My first two years there was a total nightmare. I prefer to repress those memories. lol.

And thank you. It feels great to be on vacation. :D

Ha. I know this scenario. My mother wants to put my 13-year old sister on medication for depression, just because the girl sleeps in the afternoon (it's from staying up too late, I tell ya). Doctors do like to throw diagnoses around a lot, in addition to medications--at 16, I was put on meds for depression after spending 10 minutes in my pediatrician's office. O_o ( ... )

Oh my, that is pretty serious. I really hope/wish your mother would listen to yah, sounds like you know what you are talking about. I'm sorry to hear about what you had to go through at 16. I think I can see why teens get depressed; I'm sure people not believing that you are ok makes things allot worse.

A school guidance counselor huh? Hmm that sounds like a winner. I just hope he can swallow his pride and just go to him or her. I use to love talking with mine when I felt bad, got allot of my chest too. Now that you mention it we have been on the phone allot lately. So yeah I'll continue to listen to what he has to say. It would be nice to get him laughing again, I'll work on it.

Thanks for the advice and faith pal. I really needed it. Oh yeah and I feel allot better now. Two of my friends came over and we just played games and had a good time today. And yes, I shall relax. ;)

Whoo hoo for being done with Exams! =D

Hmm... and this Kelvin situation sounds difficult. Do you see this guy often? You're a pretty person, so I'll bet your support can help him a lot. And I mean that seriously. You seem like one of those "Glue" friends that keeps everyone together and everyone's heads on straight. =) Just be careful not to condemn the cutting and stuff outright. If you can simply be there for him and find a way to take his mind off of his troubles, he'll stop on his own. But if you push him to act a certain way, he'll retaliate. It's human nature.

Good luck with this. Kids shouldn't have to deal with this kind of stuff --- neither him or you --- so you get lots of golden stars in my book. =)

Hah hah. Yeah it feels so great be free of them. ^^

I see him every now and again really. We hang out allot every summer, but once school goes back in, we never see one another. But when he is out of school, we'll be hanging out, no doubt. Thank you so much for that compliment. Every time someone tells me something kind I just smile and I keep smiling for the next few minutes, it really makes my day. I like that term "glue" friends, and you are correct. When a bunch of my friends and I don't see each other for a good while, it’s always up to me to call everyone and have a little reunion. So yeah, I suppose that the kind of friend I am. Heh...awesome! ^^

Yeah good point, I'll be sure not to put to much pressure on him. Distracting him from his troubles sounds like an ideal plan! I'll be sure to keep yah updated on the situation.

And thanks again for the kind compliments and advice. I have a good feeling about everything now, like everything will work out. :)

Glad I could make you smile! =)

By the way, reading back over my comment, I realized I had a typo or two, lol. When I said you were a "pretty person", I left out the word(s) "awesome/amazing/caring/supportive" -- take your pick, lol!

Though, don't get me wrong, your pictures all suggest that you are quite attractive, of course! XD
