Till Morning

My friend Jonathan is leaving Bermuda on Tuesday so he invited a few of his friends (myself included) to go out and party. I figured it was about time I experienced the late night parties they often attend. Don’t get me wrong, I get out of my house all the time, but I don’t really go to bars and stuff like that. Before I left, I made it very clear ( Read more... )

bars, dancing, parties, respect, wedding receptions, clubs, drinks, choices, friends, bermuda

Awesome! Shaun Paul rocks!

Really proud of you that you don't drink and smoke! That is something you don't get anymore these days! Lol, I salute you! ;-)

You sound like you had a good time, it is true that you can still have a good time without drinking. YAY to that!

Sean Paul is pretty cool. He and Rupee should so a concert together. That would be great!

Thanks. I'm pretty proud of myself as well. Peer pressure is pretty hard to deal with, but I manage. Oh yeah...there are plenty of ways to have fun without drinking. It's just a shame that not everybody realizes it.

I don't think I know who Rupee is.

Ye tell me about it hey. I have this one friend always offering me a sigarette and each time I am like no, thanks. Wish she would get the message by now!

Yeah it's not one of those everyday songs. I almost forgot how catchy it is.

I proud of you that you didn't drink or smoke. I don't do that either. I never saw the appeal :P

Thanks...I feel quite strong, actually. Resisting peer pressure has always been one of my good points. But yeah, to me, it just ruins you at times. Makes people look so much older. *shivers* But yeah, at least we are following a better path.

How can you call something lame when you've never tried it?

There's such thing as having a drink without becoming a bloody alcoholic you know.

That really annoys me, respect what other people do (as in having a drink with friends which can help make me more confident) and I'll respect what you do. Until then quit calling us lame please.

One more thing, is drinking alcohol and not becoming an alcoholic suddenly not classed as self control now? Sheesh.

Yes, it does bad things to people but only to those who don't have the self control in the first place. Nothing wrong with having a drink every now and again.

Fine, if you don't want to try it then don't but don't blast the rest of us for something you've never even bothered to try.

Oh, by the way, that wasn't directed to you in particular - mainly Miguel.

Sorry pal but I'm just annoyed at that.
