Work wasn't half bad today. In fact, it was quite peaceful. Adrian (who I mentioned in my last post) wasn't as annoying as before. Then again, I was responsible for a summer group full of kids for the entire day, so he was never given the chance to bug me. To be honest...I had fun working with the kids today. Spiffy is a pretty accurate word for the sea hare. I use to think seahorses were the coolest looking sea creature, but I think the sea hare takes the title. :)

The sea hare really feels like jello, so it wasn't to bad, lol. It remained curled up while it was in my hands, so I'm glad it didn't decided to move around...then I would have freaked out. :P

That looks so weird, but in an awesome way. It looks like a slug if you ask me.

Yeah, the sea hare is pretty much a sea slug, now that you mention it.

I'll be sure to post up a picture of a black one sometime. ;)

Ewww...that looks so...I dunno. I wouldn't touch it. I'd be too afraid that it will snap my hand off! XD and what is that pink stuff?

LOL...I think it's the cutest sea creature ever, lol. Don't worry it won't bite you. It eats this particular kind of sea grass, so you have nothing to fear. ;)

Oh and the pink stuff is the ink it releases when ever it's touched. It's quite harmless to us I believe.

Dude. That sluggy thing is so cool. Part of me just wants to reach through the computer screen and pet it. But i doubt sea hares like to be petted. Still, I want one. Can you keep 'em as pets? The black ones must be really sweet.

I love sea animals. They're nifty.

I knew you would like it pal. The sea hare is the type of animal that many would be tempted to touch. But you're right, they don't really liked to be touched.

But they can make pretty cool pets. The only thing is that they eat only 1 kind of sea grass called "larencia" and I'm not to sure if it's very common around the world. But hey, you never know. ;)
