I need to know the truth....

What hurts more, running away from the truth or discovering it? Though it's a mere opinion, I believe running away from the truth is more painful. I mean if somebody told you the truth, weather it was about you or not, shouldn't you feel a sense of relief? Not to mention the appreciation that the person was honest. Weather a friend tells you that ( Read more... )

opinion, truth, classmates, my future, close friends, advice. proud, confused

Is it bad for me to care about my friend’s and there dreams the same, or more then my own dream?

No. Absolutely not. As long as you don't let others take advantage of your kind and caring nature, there is nothing wrong with it. Most people are selfish jerks and completely the opposite of you. Don't listen to people and just be yourself. You're a good friend.

Your right, being myself is all that matters. Allowing people to use me...heh those days are over. At least my ways aren't 100% bad, that's good to know. Thank you Diana, I needed that.

First, I totally 2nd what Di said. You gotta make sure you have a sense to step back and look at the big picture and realize if somebody's taking you for a ride. That's really my own concern with what you're saying. Saying that you'd rather fail with everyone else is a pretty damn considerate statement. The ideal thing would be to win with everybody, but that's almost impossible - everybody has to be responsible for they're own choices. I just don't want you to make sure everybody else wins and you lose because you got them there. You deserve better than that.

All this stuff aside, there's nothing wrong with being the really good person that you are! People talk, only you know how it really is.

I'm still keeping a watchful eye out for those who are just pretending they can't do things for themselves. I know that statement of mine shocked you guys, but I was only being honest lol. But I'll admit, I over looked the fact that everybody is responsible for there own choices. I'll be sure to not loose focus on my own dreams. Thanks Ryan...your rule man :D

"Why wouldn't I give a damn about others dreams?" "Doesn’t learning about other people's dreams help develop your own in some way?"

I agree with that sentence!

I see nothing wrong with you wanting to help people. Heck I wish I was like that! Perhaps you should focus a little more on success for a change. I know you love helping people, but it's going to slow you down. But then again, do what you want to do. We are all born free. DO what makes YOU happy!

Oh trust me mate, I'll continue to do what makes me happy...but at the same time, care about my priorities. No more putting myself in second place...those days are over. Don't get me wrong, I'll still help people out, but sill stay on the path of my ow success. Thanks man :D
