1. Avery Brooks - top o' the list! I've always been sad about 2 things regarding Brooks: 1)That he didn't really go back to tv after DS9, and 2) That I never managed to see him in one of his plays. :(

Very lovely selection.

Funny thing about Anthony Head. I go back and forth with him on Merlin. He plays Uther so frikkin well I'm usually like, "will somebody pleeeeeeeeeeeeeze kill this asshole off." Because I hate him with such a fiery passion, then I remember, "Oh WAIT NO. IT'S ANTHONY HEAD. SEXY MCSEXIKINS. He can't die. We love him too much."

LOL!!!!

'Fraid I'm too picky 'bout what I feed my head -- most of those I'm ecstatic when they're on something I'll watch, but I won't follow them to things I can't get into. Someday Perrineau'll be in something I can handle again -- meantime I've got my Matrix dvds.

Harold Perrineau? I haven't seen any of the things he's credited in on here, but I adored him in Oz. Best narrator ever, and one of the most interesting characters in the show (which was full of interesting characters).

I will watch Zoe Saldana in anything ever. I even saw Avatar, and though we all know what a mistake that was, she was (along with the SFX) the thing that made me regret how much the movie as a whole sucked and was, you know, racist and colonialist garbage. But I loved her in Center Stage way back when she literally stole the show, and she kicked so much ass in STXI and The Losers there really aren't words.

-- Which compels me to add, I'd really watch Zachary Quinto watch paint dry. I watched almost all of Heroes (I missed some bits out of the middle) for him after STXI, and while that show was falling into pathetic where-do-we-go-from-here doldrums by the end, I kept watching for Sylar.

Someone new I want to keep an eye out for is Russell Tovey -- George on the BBC's Being Human. I don't think I've seen him in anything else, but he's a fantastic actor. I also love Lenora Crichlow, who plays Annie.

I remember Tovey from a few eps of Doctor Who. In fact, he winds up hooking up with Jack.

Lucky bastard.
