I read your original piece with interest specifically because we have such different experiences in reading. I loved Enigma, for example, but it's not the sort of thing I'd have expect you to read, just as many of the folks you listed I'd never heard of before reading you.

I like learning new things. I like being exposed to new things I might find interesting. It confuses me that others feel so differently.
