Speaking as a woman of size, off the top of my head, it would be good to avoid:
But she has such a pretty face Virgin/whore dynamic - juxtaposed to tragic reject stuffing face with twinkies, candy bars, doughnuts / always dieting dynamic super sweet/ super gruff
I know I post this on Ars. Marginal, but..jnelums1988June 25 2012, 22:10:48 UTC
You know I like the primise, but few things Is it the setting like Mad Max or Book Of Eli. Also what are the characters background? Likes and dislike? (enters into fangasim)
“So my question to the women is this. In an action packed book where the ladies take center stage, what would you like to see more of from writers and what would you like writers to avoid? I basically want to hear your thoughts so I can know what to bear in mind while writing the story.”
This is the reason why in games like Saints Row, I usually create a female character. Like to me it’s more interesting when a woman that is the main star of the fiction (not Lara Corft or any things that is done for fan service) that is not a romance or any perverse storyline. Like something that someone can look up to. A hero not a damsel. So I would love to see more of this story. (needs to get comic off the ground)
I sure that Neo will think of something other than the male projecting crap. (think about it the main reason why mainstream add in that device in is because of either to have males project thier fantasy of doing the act or wishing to "save the girl"

And while this might be odd for me to say as a butch-y dyke, "masculine" women who aren't queer. (Vazquez from Aliens my favorite for this.)

Sadly Vazquez was played by a Jewish woman.
