White peepul, new rule: no more bringing up the issue of classism during discussion on racism and white privilege. POCs will let you know when it's a matter of racism and classism.

As a matter of fact, generally speaking white folks should sit on their hands, listen, learn and STFU.

By putting the oppression which one suffers from as the true source of all goodness and justice that magically will solve all the world's ills then it serves the dual purpose of a) switching the focus onto the issue they prefer and b) denying own privilege (because we're now talking about a different marginalisation)

It's a really creepy and manipulative tactic that happens too often

Exactly. And it's not lost on me that it's usually the people who are most privileged: middleclass and white, who pull this shit.
