Similarly, I never understood the people who'd be assholes to the people making/handling their food before the food arrived. I saw all sorts of things working fast food in the day. Just saying.

Five years at Burger King and I made all the hot food at Dairy Queen for eight hours a day for a few years. (They were open eight to ten hours depending on the day, so that's all the prep and more than half the food coming out of that kitchen total). There was no food sabotage at the Dairy Queen. *ahem* I'm not saying anything specific about standard food sabotage for asshole customers at Burger King. For the record, I didn't do it personally, but it was done on my behalf on occasion as at late night you can totally hear people being dicks at drive through all the way to the back of the kitchen and those guys liked me.
