Oh wow. I never even wondered about him. That scene in the engine room in "Serenity" with Jewel Staite was so great to me because they *finally* got together. :) Fool for a romantic ending, that's me. And I'm relieved to observe that this doesn't lessen my admiration for Maher as an actor. (yeah, yeah, pat myself on the head, sheesh).
