Who: Shikibu Seiju, Mikoshiba Shouta, Open. Where: Elysium, Asclepius Hospital When: Two days after the ordeal in Shouta's apartment. Summary: Seiju's not all sane in the head. Rating: Probably PG. Other: To much Peony.
It had been at least a day where everything had been scented with clean lemon. The stall taste of it had been in the air. The man hadn't really noticed the change but more subconsciously could smell the sweet aroma fill the space. Only he could see the darkness. The assistant had felt like he had been floating in darkness for a long time. Though it was only the drugs in his system that kept him from feeling any kind of pain

The soft sneeze wasn’t enough to stir the uniformed Seiju-his hat sliding a little more along his crown to the point it was in danger of tipping over and landing in his lap at any second. Dozing .dozing-in Seiju’s own darkness-the empty feeling was a comforting blanket around his psyche. In the darkness- the empty vast darkness, he didn’t have to feel pain…he didn’t have to worry…he didn’t have to feel hollow

The sight of the officer had been comical. It was like watching a flash animation in slow motion. A pile of limps crashing into the clean floor of the room. His lips twitched upwards at the sight. He was afraid to burst out laughing. The assistant remembered that his lower half had been covered in rubble and glass. There was a ton of pain but a lot snark between him, the Joker and the deputy.
As he watched Seiju push himself back up in a fluid motion. He blinked only a few times to see the officer blabbing out incoherent sentences. The words were all jumbled together he only managed to hear bazooka. It was the loudest word out of the whole talk.
"Seiju..."
Shouta spoke again while raising his left hand. The man turned it palm up and motioned for the other man to come closer. No one should be worrying over him like this. It was his own damn fault. A light grin played against his lips.
"I trust you can make it over here without tripping."
Those violet eyes had just barely managed to catch sight of those lips wanting to desperately twitch into some kind of grin or give way to obnoxious laughter-but at this point- Seiju wouldn’t have cared- he probably would have laughed along with him. As far as he was concerned he would have no right in any situation right now- to be angry at Shouta- much less about him slipping and kissing the floor
