Who: Larxene [larandorder] and Belphegor [principe-cieco]
Where: The Asylum.
When: Noon.
Summary: Laying low has a notorious downside: it's about as fun and stimulating as staring into a wall for thirty-six hours, which is basically what Larxene has been up to. Luckily for her, a certain person of royal descent pays his humble subject a visit.
Rating: PG. Probably. Maybe ( Read more... )

He did not like being a messenger.

He did not like having to do anything for someone else.

He was a Prince; he shouldn't have to. Lucky them that the Mad Hatter had asked ever-so-nicely that Belphegor felt obligated to, just because he was such an amazing person.

The blonde was led down to the room, accompanied by one of the staff who pretty much ignored his existence. How annoying. This prince was to be acknowledged and bowed to but he would let this slide only on the fact that he was here for business and a social visit. Hands grasped a large bouquet, big enough so that he couldn't see over it very well, flowers obscuring his vision, and he arrived at her room, the staff member opened the door, allowing the princeling in.

"'Elllo~~~ Missus Larxene~!"

This was the last thing she had expected to see in her time here. The prince himself, whom she'd refer to as "the Duchess" in the back of her head, paying her a visit? The higher powers that may be sure worked in mysterious ways ( ... )

"You can leave now."

Belphegor waved the staff man away before entering the room completely, the door shutting behind him. He scurried over to Larxene's bed, a skip in his step before landing with a hop, feet together and a grin decorating his lips. Missus Larxene didn't look that great, but she wasn't as awesome as him to get out of having to go to a hospital, despite the fact that there was nothing wrong with him.

"Hello~!" He greeted again, blonde locks falling over his face, bouquet held tightly to his chest, petals flitting around his fingers. "Yepyep! For Missus Larxene!" He held the massive bouquet out, head cocked to the side like a puppy, watching curiously.

"Shishishi~" A laugh. "Princes are supposed to." Then a pause. "Nn, we just thought you deserved a visit from this prince, yeah~!"

How she had missed the Duchess and his ability to never get to the main theme of things right away.

She accepted the gift, taking the bouquet out of his hands and placing it (with gentle care, of course) beside her. "How kind of the prince!" she exclaimed with a happy tone that disguised a lingering frustration in the back of her head. Namely, the fact that she knew (or suspected, at least) that there was more to this little little plaything's intentions than you could see at a glance. "But the prince needn't worry about me. Trust me, I'm... Quite well, actually." Here it has to be underscored that she hate-hate-hated every word of sweetness she forced herself to bestow upon the Duchess. But hey, sometimes you have to take one for the team, so to say.
