What was it with everyone thinking he wasn't a prince? Especially since he so obviously was. He wore a crown and had manners and knew how to treat his people. Maybe it was because they didn't remember the royal clan that used to be one of the highest statuses in all of Elysium, Terra, and Abyss. But that was a long time ago, and those pests were long squashed out. So it was just him and only him.

Slim fingers slipped out from his long striped sleeves, red and pink this time. It wasn't so cold for him to feel uncomfortable, after all, he was used to it. The thief smelled him before she heard him; she had been in Abyss enough times to pick out human scents from that of the garbage that littered the entire level. She had been raised like that - sometimes, one had to rely more on one sense than another or something like that, according to some of the proverbs that had been drilled into her head since birth. Strange attire with blonde hair, braids wound around and around and draping down. And she had that smug expression that he had always imagined she would wear upon her face. A darling, pretty thing, roughly around his age, give or take a few years. Wearing something that he had no idea what it was but it showed so much skin that it gave him shivers, excitement at the porcelain that he could slit wit his marks and just lap it all up.
