Oh my gosh, that is very clever! I feel sorry for Draco having to be Harry more than the Harry being Draco. Stuck inside the Dursley's!

Hah! That's very true. I'm glad you thought it was clever though. It took me a really, really long time to write this. To get everything in *and* make it not be 10,000 some words.

Oh wow, I wasn't expecting Harry and Draco to switch places! YES, the build-up was worth it. I can't believe Draco agreed to "to aid Harry in whatever endeavors that he may ask" of him. That's huge. And dying for him? Good grief. I can't wait until the next chapter! Snape was unforgiving about it all. He was excellent.

Well, it's that or forfeit Snape's protection from Voldemort and cruel, cruel punishment. After the Vow it's not like Draco can go back on it w/o severe punishments and I think Draco realizes he's screwed (maybe intentionally so by Voldemort) when he failed.

Snape is a bitch to write.

OMG! That was a total surprise!! I almost feel sorry for Draco, were he not such a jerk for so long to Harry - I could only wish it were Snape, in his place, but he is needed. Mmm. will this become a Snarry, as opposed to a mentor typr fic? Ooo, I'd love it!! Though, I wonder if they'll treat Draco better, since he's not Harry? I can hardly wait - This is really starting to cook!

Draco is still a jerk, though a self-preserving jerk. And really Draco is good to ppl. he thinks can help him (hence Snape). This is a Snarry (check out "The Year After" it's loosely based on Book Seven in my mind w/ some alterations). As for Draco, you'll see as much of his situation as I can allow (which won't be as much as Harry's, simple matter of who's the more important character, in this case, characters).

Total surprise aside, this has been what all those Harry chapters have been building to.

Oh, excellent, Nenya. I did not see this coming at all. Wonderful. Draco stuck at the Dursleys? At least he is with new, improved Petunia. Because holy crap what a heyday he would have otherwise. And Snape. Being...well, Snape. Well done.
Loved the phoenix pecking at Snape's nose, someone needs to do a fanart of that. *snicker*

This is going to be fun.
Cheers!

Petunia is better than before (or else Draco would seriously be miserable!). Snape is very hard to do well and this Snape is more ambiguous than my previous Snapes (thanks to HBP). Oh and the phoenix really doesn't like Snape much, can you guess why? Oh and if someone did a fanart that'd be great :).

I'm glad you're enjoying it. Seems like my readers dropped like flies *wonders why*. I thought this chapters was loads better than the previous one yet that one got more read-age.

Such a wonderful twist. Poor Draco and then there is Aunt Petunia, (I know I keep harping on that). I want to know what is going on! And you didn't mention Aywell. Did he leave with Snape and polyjuice Draco or stay with polyjuice Harry. Must mention I love that Snape is the one totally in control here and the boys are just obeying him without real resistance.

Well you do know what's going on much more so than any other chapter! The five chapters before were just buildup for this! Aywell isn't mentioned except as bird/phoenix b/c this chapter is in Snape's POV and he doesn't *know* or *care* about a stupid bird. Also the fact Aywell bit him in the nose isn't going to make him fond of him. *g*

And yes, I don't see Snape as being one out-of-control unless it's w/ a wizard much more powerful than him. Hence Dumbledore and Voldemort.
