Proulx :). Thanks, it's different from what she writes, but I still things lends itself to her work. The time period's different since it's 1870s vs. 1950s.

very good. as ladypadawan said it sounds very much like Annie Proulx's writing and thats a very good thing since not a lot of people can pull that off. Definately want to see more of this!

I've never read anything like this before, (*coughs*I'msouncultured*coughs), and I really like the style; it's more personal and gritty. *licks it* Anyway, I can't wait until you post the next part! I really want to find out about Ewan and Hayden's relationship. Great job so far and I hope you post more soon! :D

If you like this, you ought to read the original short story. It's beautiful! I won't be borrowing any lines word-for-word, but some may be inspired by it. Really it's just the plot of two cowboys that love each other, but we'll see where it goes. It probably won't be very long.

Ohhhh i am so going to watch that movie. I kept watching the trailer to make the storyline out of it. I know this is a great plot for Hayden and Ewan.
