And thank you, Wikipedia, for teaching me that Mahayana Buddhism absorbed her into the pantheon from her "pagan" roots, kind of like Christmas. ^^;;

At any rate, much of this deck is more of a "tarot translated to Chinese terms" rather than a "tarot deck of Chinese stuff". It's not a method I prefer, but I can understand why (namely, it's easier to sell to a western audience).
