Gaming will eat itself

Is it just me or has gaming gone crossover crazy over the last few years?  We've had;

- Kingdom Hearts (Square vs Disney.  It's accepted now but I remember it being regarded as a huge shock when it first came out)
- Capcom Fighting Jam (Capcom vs itself)
- Namco x Capcom (guess)
- Neo Geo Battle Coliseum (SNK vs itself)
- Chaos Wars (Idea Factory vs

There should be a SEGA fighting game. I want to see Rocket Knight vs Ristar!!

Sparkster is actually Konami, not Sega. But Konami already contributed Snake to Brawl and maybe Smash 4 will push the multi-company-crossover angle more and result in some Sparkster content on the level of a sticker or assist trophy. I won't expect him as a playable character but if that happened I would probably shriek and pass out from glee.
