*smacks forehead and puts read Sleeper, I'm awake on the top of my TO DO list because I have been meaning to for WEEKS*

This was fantastic. Really. I'm not really into AU's but you pulled me in after the first couple of lines. Nice little twists to kind of put the little canon things into the fic.

It should have made them stronger. United. It should have made them understand each other better, but somehow it only tears them further apart. Veronica can’t even remember the last time she had a semi-serious conversation with the girl she calls her best friend.

You know what's funny? I have often thought that if Lilly had never died but still went on the same path she was heading pre-series... her and Veronica would have eventually stopped being friends. I don't know why and I really don't like to think about it that much because I love Lilly/Veronica friendship, but it was nice to see that bit in there.

I'm really happy you liked it, and I really apperciate you telling me so! This fic has been my baby for quite some time and it feels so good to finally put it down in words.

Oh, me too. I always thought that sooner or later they would stop being friends. (Maybe because I've always seen me and a friend's relation in Lilly/Veronica and we lost contact a couple years back. She's the one I base my Lilly on in this fic, btw.)

No problem, here. I'm not Duncan's biggest fan in the first place... although he can have his moments.
