Yeah - great post. I actually liked the faerie part but I agree you know that grandpa was definately had red shirt syndrome as soon as he came back to Bon Temps. Sookie couldn't have something good like that happen for long. Also did it bug anyone else that he gave the watch to Jason and nothing to Sookie? "Every man needs a watch". How much did that suck? I thought episode 1 started real slow but I loved the end when Eric came in on Sookie. Ep 1 really is just the set up for Ep II. I couldn't wait and I watched Ep II. I can't wait for 3 now LOL
Thank you! I actually am one of the few who never liked the fairies. I mostly just like the vampires and humans on the show, plus very few weres. The watch thing confused me, but i initially thought it was because the grandpa didn't get to say good bye to Jason. Except for the fairy bit and Sam's general boredom, I loved this episode, and I loved the second one even more.
Your Buffy reference made me LOL - actually a few places made me LOL. Enjoyed reading the recaps with the sense of humor. Please continue to write these recaps for the whole season because they are full of awesome. :)
