Pregnant women are not radioactive superheroes... or something.

Being pregnant made me realize how much I dislike clichés, stereotypes and common sayings. When you announce your pregnancy to your entourage, it seems people can't help throwing clichés at you like rice on newly weds. You rule! ;) Many thanks from a childfree person for being so open and honest about such a sensitive topic! I do admire you a lot for taking the time to dress up beautifuly in gothic attire and take great pictures even now, during your pregnancy! Too many people forget who they are when they are pregnant, and I just don't think this is right, not for them nor for the kid they will have... I'm glad you are sticking to your passions and interests! And your Halloween party must have been really cool! :)

Thank you! I'm hoping I didn't make anyone sad with this post, I really didn't want to be mean to people who are writing these comments. I just never understood why we idealize pregnancy that much (and then so many women are disappointed). I mean, it's cool to get a mini-me, but wow, the whole construction and expulsion part is far from being pleasant all the time. :p Makes me wish I were a chicken, ahahah!

Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to dress up for the next couple of months because like I said, it's tons of energy and I just don't have that much to spare anymore. And my outfits are all too small, of course. But I can't wait to make funny costumed baby pics, ahahah! Things will be changing, but I'll still keep my own personality for sure.

That Halloween party was the bomb, people are already asking about next year. :p
