I took a couple of pictures in Amsterdam after leaving the Torture museum and then, we went to eat seafood at Lucius. We got the big seafood platter fort wo and it was delicious!!! And you already know my thoughts on the cook... aaaaahhhh, delicious too! :p
The next day, we went to visit the town of Delft. It's a town famous for its white and blue potteries and the painter Vermeer. There also a nice murder story about Guillaume d’Orange. It was cold and rainy, so we visited the church with the huge mausoleum and the Prinsenhof museum. I don't hate the painter Vermeer, but I'm never really attracted to museums that are all about one painter. I prefer variety, so we went for the murder/history/science museum. ;) That'll be for another post though, cause you know... too many pictures. ;)
Ooh, weird art!
I like the fancy pigeons they have here.
It's a pretty town, isn't it? I wish we could have spend more time outside.
Oooohhh!
That's the mausoleum of William d'Orange, who was shot nearby.
There were old tombstones everywhere on the floor.
Is that a nipple I see???
The mausoleum.
Those angels look pissed!
I love old books!
